About
Bryan Morera

My name is Bryan Morera, and I am a lifelong Miami Laker. I am an attorney primarily practicing in the field of business law and I own my own law firm right here in Miami Lakes. I have also served on two of the Town’s committees: the Neighborhood Improvement Committee and the Blasting Advisory Board. I have also served as President of my homeowners’ association. Together, these experiences have given me the skills and qualifications necessary to deliver RESULTS for our residents.

I am also part of a true Miami Lakes family. My parents live here, my brother and his wife, together with my two nephews, live here, and when my wife, Katherine, and I were deciding where to live and raise our family, we chose to remain in Miami Lakes. This family-wide commitment to Miami Lakes, together with having my business here, means that I have a direct stake in what happens in Miami Lakes today, tomorrow, and years down the road.

Like many towns, we are facing some growing pains and face serious challenges that need to be addressed. Over the years, traffic has become difficult to contend with at best, and a nightmare at worst, several of our tree canopies have been removed, and numerous interests have endeavored to treat taxpayer dollars like a blank check and to over-develop our Town. As your next councilman, I will work with my colleagues to deliver long term solutions to these and other issues to ensure that Miami Lakes remains a great place to live, work, and play.

That is why I humbly ask that on April 9th, you vote for me for Town Council Seat 6.

Blasting

As a member of the Blasting Advisory Board, I worked with local leaders to stand up for the residents of Miami Lakes. We were able to advocate for limitations on blasting to secure the safety and structural integrity of our homes.

Taxes

As a small business owner, I know the importance of making every dollar count. As a councilman, I will work diligently to ensure that we meet the needs of our residents while posing the smallest possible tax burden on their pocketbooks.

Public Safety

As crime continues to see a spike in surrounding communities, we must be willing to provide the necessary funding and resources so that the residents of Miami Lakes can feel safe and keep crime out of our town.

Beautification

As our town continues to grow, we must never lose our sense of community or our character as a small town. As your next councilman, I will work to ensure that future development is in line with that character and does not further strain our roadways and infrastructure.
